Originally constructed in 1920 as a bank, the building still contains the original tile floor, marble counters, and vault, adding to the historic ambiance of the museum.
The museum houses exhibits on many topics including ancient Native American tribal life, early settlement, ranching, the Santa Fe Railroad, Fred Harvey and La Posada Hotel, Route 66, the Winslow-Lindbergh Regional Airport, and many other aspects of town life.
